A Space Between Beginning | 2026 Photography BFA Senior Capstone Exhibition Opening Reception

The Anderson (907 1/2 W. Franklin St.) and VCUarts will present the 2026 BFA Senior Capstone Exhibition for the Photography + Film program. Presented in two rounds, Capstone exhibitions represent the accomplishments of the senior class from each area. The participating undergraduate students collaborate to produce and install their own exhibitions which represent the knowledge and skills they have acquired while pursuing their degree and demonstrate their contribution to creative scholarship within their field. The opening reception for Round 2 will be Friday, April 3. Round 1 was presented March 20-28.

VCU’s Commonwealth Singers Spring Concert

Research Study: Understanding the Best Strategy for Estrogen Administration to Optimize Bone Health in Young Women With Functional Hypothalamic Amenorrhea
VCU and UVA seek females ages 14–30 for a research study. If you are low weight, lost significant weight, or exercise heavily and have missed or irregular periods (FHA), you may qualify. FHA can harm bone health due to low estrogen. This study tests estrogen and progesterone to improve bone health. Includes four visits over 14 months (exams, questionnaires, nutrition/exercise review, bone scans) at no cost. Up to $875 compensation + travel support. Contact: misralab@uvahealth.org

Body, Mind and Balance: Reach Your Goals
Redefining BMI is a research study at the VCU School of Public Health. Eligible participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of two programs to help manage their weight by making changes to eating and physical activity. Both programs involve attending virtual group-based sessions led by a trained lifestyle coach over the course of 12 months. This study also asks participants to attend in-person data collection visits before beginning the program, and then again at four, eight and 12 months
